Russ Sipes never dreamed that his unique and unorthodox career path would lead to the exciting and cutting-edge litigation firm that he and partner Linda George have created at the firm of George & Sipes. Russ leads the office in the litigation of asbestos and other catastrophic personal injury cases. His competitive spirit and love of the courtroom make Russ a relentless advocate for those he represents.
Russ leads the firms litigation team in trial of numerous mesothelioma and asbestos-related injury cases. His leadership in landmark Indiana trials includes a multi-million dollar Plaintiff verdicts in the first premises liability and first contractor liability cases for Indiana mesothelioma and asbestos-related cancer victims.
Russ' commitment to victims of asbestos disease, catastrophic injury, and civil rights injustice extends beyond the courtroom. Russ has championed numerous legislative and grassroots outreach programs in an attempt to ensure equality and protection for the rights of the injured. Russ was Executive Director of Common Cause of Indiana from 1987-1993, and presently is the Vice-Chairman of the Citizens Action Coalition Educational Fund. Maintaining a watchful eye on the pulse of the legislature and the decisions impacting his clients provides Russ with a unique insight effecting for advocating and protecting the rights of the injured.
Russ spends his time away from the office with Linda and their grandchildren. Russ is an avid sailor and finds his second home on the sea. When firmly on land, Russ and Linda enjoy traveling on their motorcycle and have even been known to make client visits by motorbike.
