George and Sipes recently scored a victory for children who develop lead poisoning from paint in rental homes or apartments. In Erwin v. Roe, the Indiana Court of Appeals ruled that a landlord of a dwelling built before 1978 is negligent if he or she fails to give tenants a special lead-hazard warning pamphlet. This decision ensures that landlords who fail to perform their legal duties will be held responsible if a child develops lead poisoning from their premises. Read Appellate Decision.

Team Rees Photo
On October 16, 2010 George & Sipes client, David Rees, and his family participated in the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" Walk in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their team raised over $2,000.00 for the American Cancer Society. Their team motto: “No One Fights Cancer Alone” was so inspirational to our office that staff and attorneys purchased T-shirts to support the Rees Family.
